What happens when you receive an app that allows you to share your dreams and memories with other people and lets you see theirs?

This gripping story, by Manoj Bhavnani, about an introvert but a successful CEO who has nightmares about killing his wife. How he turns to an app that allows him to share his dreams and create an alter ego. And finally how it affects his life and the life of his best friends. So how does this book fair on The Booker’s Diary’s scale?

Uniqueness

With the futuristic element of a dream sharing app and its effect on the lives of residents of uptown Mumbai, Manoj has skillfully mixed sci-fi, mystery, suspense and drama. Most sci-fi novels that delve into the world of aliens and alternate dimensions. This story takes a mobile app and mixes it into the life of people living in modern India; Something that seems to be a possibility soon. This mixture makes the story pretty unique.

Predictability

The story is riddled with twists and turns that kept me on my toes. It isn’t straightforward to predict at any point in time.

Writing style

A crisp and straightforward writing style ensured that the correct details were conveyed at the right time. The writing style felt like a typical movie unfolding right in front of my eyes. The suspense was alive throughout the story.

Cost worth

The book is available at no cost for Kindle unlimited users, and the paperback 325 for the value of the paperback is a standard price.

Entertaining

I was engaged throughout the story. It took some time to gain my bearings when the story began. After a while, I realized that I was inside a dream. A crisp writing style coupled with twists and turns kept me entertained and engaged.

The Review

9 Score

A unique storyline coupled with entertaining and crisp writing makes for a gripping storyline. The story is riddled with so many twists that you never know what's coming.
